Purpose
To encourage and support individual and group research in family history, including gathering, preserving and publishing records, especially those pertaining to Delaware County, Ohio.
Meetings
Usually the First Tuesday of the month, meetings are held in the Community Room at the Delaware County District Library, 84 E. Winter St., Delaware, OH. (phone 740-369-4375) We do not have program meetings in January or February because of uncertainty of the weather conditions.
Newsletter
The Delaware Genealogist is published quarterly and is included with membership. It contains queries, county statistics, advise on genealogical research, conventions, society information and much more.
Delaware County Pioneers
An Honorary Society to recognize those individuals who came to Delaware County, 1850 or earlier. The research and documentation required for membership is intended to encourage careful genealogical work and to foster interest in history, culture and customs of Delaware County.
